June 2nd 2019 at 6.30pm – In the last term’s rehearsals the open choir have been developing songs based on the original and freshly penned poetry of its members. I think we were all amazed at the quality of the poetry and we have been finding ways to create musical backdrops over which the songsmiths themselves can improvise their solos on their own texts.
We are happy the house cat Dingo is now starting to listen to us singing as he gets used to the vocal invasion of his space each Monday evening..
