Calendar: TIC at Southbank Centre’s Chorus Festival

TIC will be performing on Sunday 20th March at the Southbank Centre as part of their Chorus Festival, a 3-day event with around 50 choirs performing in foyer spaces across the Centre. Join us from 7pm to 7.25pm on the Central Bar stage in the Royal Festival Hall foyer. We are appearing just before a show called “Mmm Hmmm” by Verity Standen, described as ‘a playful and poignant musical journey shaped by three exceptional female voices.’

Calendar: Join TIC for an Open Workshop!

Join us on Saturday before the choir’s first public performance for a collective improvisation workshop open to all levels of singing. The workshop starts at 12.30pm at the Vortex (Dalston, N16) for one hour of gentle vocal exercises and artistic exploration. Another good TIC rehearsal today! Sorted out the hand, body, face and mouth signals. Made a quick video talking through the main ones so we can all learn them. There’s a signal for ‘I don’t know’ – and another called ‘ emergency exit’.
